Meinersen: Shared Self-Service Pavilion Opens in Müden an der Aller
Müden's New Shared Banking Pavilion Extends Cash Access for Locals
For several weeks now, a joint self-service banking pavilion operated by Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg and Volksbank eG Südheide-Isenhagener Land-Altmark has been open in Müden an der Aller. Located at 26 Hauptstraße, the pavilion is designed to ensure long-term cash access for local residents—a free service available to customers of both banks, according to a joint press release.
"This collaboration demonstrates what we can achieve together for the region," said Tim Faß, a board member of Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg. "The self-service pavilion is a modern, secure, and barrier-free facility that provides everyone in Müden with easy access to cash."
Requesting Account Statements
Beyond the pavilion, Sparkasse now offers many services through its Dialog-Center. Staff are available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to assist customers, including guidance on how to receive account statements by mail and other contemporary banking solutions, Faß added.
Volksbank is also prioritizing partnerships to maintain its local presence. "We understand that change isn't always easy," explained Detlef Reiß, an authorized officer at Volksbank eG Südheide-Isenhagener Land-Altmark. "That's why we focus on clearly communicating alternatives like phone banking and our digital services, which benefit not only customers in Müden but also those in nearby towns such as Flettmar and Ettenbüttel. We've even introduced a new account model that emphasizes the use of our Customer Dialog Center." At the same time, he noted, the bank continues to provide reliable, locally accessible cash services through facilities like the new self-service pavilion.
Pooling Resources
By establishing the pavilion, both institutions aim to combine their resources to create economically sustainable solutions for the region. In addition to self-service options, customers can still access personal advisors at nearby branches in Meinersen.
The Müden pavilion is centrally located at 26 Hauptstraße and offers cash withdrawals from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. For account statements, customers are directed to the respective branches in Meinersen (Sparkasse: 2 Am Marktplatz; Volksbank: 27a Hauptstraße).
