Motorcyclist dies in late-night crash on Offenbach's Strahlenbergerstraße

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident in Offenbach on Thursday evening. According to police, the man lost control of his Harley-Davidson on Strahlenbergerstraße just before the Kaiserlei intersection toward Frankfurt at around 9:50 p.m. and crashed.

Despite resuscitation efforts, the rider died at the scene. As reported by 5VISION.NEWS, the motorcycle skidded into the green strip after the fall and collided with a traffic sign.

Roads and on-ramp temporarily closed

Both lanes of Strahlenbergerstraße toward Frankfurt, as well as a section of the A 661 highway, were closed during the accident investigation and recovery operations. According to 5VISION.NEWS, the closures lasted until approximately 12:45 a.m.

The exact cause of the accident remains unclear. A forensic expert has been called in to reconstruct the events, and police confirmed that a drone was also deployed during the investigation.

Police seek witnesses to the accident

Investigators are now asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
