1. Duo Breaks Into Bakery and Steals Cash
Motorcycle crashes and bakery burglary shock Limburg-Weilburg in 24 hours
Löhnberg, Grüner Weg, Friday, September 19, 2025, 00:25 AM – 1:00 AM
(fh) Two burglars struck a bakery in Löhnberg in the early hours of Friday. Between 12:25 AM and 1:00 AM, they entered the premises—located inside a supermarket building—unnoticed. The pair then pried open several containers, stealing cash before fleeing. They left behind property damage estimated at around €2,500. Police have a description of the suspects.
One suspect was approximately 1.75 meters tall, of average build, and carried a crowbar. He wore a blue hooded jacket, light blue jeans, black shoes, and gray-orange gloves. He also had a dark backpack. His accomplice was of similar height and build and was likewise armed with a prying tool. He wore a black sweater, gray jeans with a red label, gray shoes with white soles, and pale blue gloves.

2. Motorcycle Riders Injured in Crash
Hadamar, Bundesstraße 54, Thursday, September 18, 2025, 4:15 PM
(fh) A motorcycle carrying two people crashed on Bundesstraße 54 Thursday afternoon, leaving both riders injured. According to initial findings, a 68-year-old man and his 67-year-old passenger were traveling on a Piaggio motorcycle toward Oberzeuzheim when, for reasons still unknown, the rider veered off the road to the right and lost control. Both were thrown into an embankment and had to be taken to nearby hospitals. The motorcycle was rendered inoperable and had to be towed.
3. Motorcyclist Crashes and Suffers Injuries
Runkel, Arfurt, Mühlenstraße, Thursday, September 18, 2025, 9:15 PM
(fh) A motorcyclist crashed and was injured in Runkel-Arfurt Thursday evening. Around 9:15 PM, the 39-year-old man was riding his Suzuki along Mühlenstraße toward Runkeler Straße when he lost control just before house number 7. He fell and came to a stop on the roadway. Due to his injuries, he was taken to a hospital. The Runkel Volunteer Fire Department contained fluids that had leaked from the bike. The motorcycle sustained approximately €1,500 in damage.
