Hit-and-run in Offenbach leaves two injured after BMW forces Audi off road

A hit-and-run incident in Offenbach left two people injured and caused significant damage on Sunday afternoon. Police are searching for a black BMW driver who allegedly forced an Audi SQ5 off the road before fleeing the scene. The collision happened near the intersection of Rhöstraße and Ahornstraße at around 4 p.m. The incident began when the driver of a black BMW, believed to be a BMW X6 with Limburg licence plates, reportedly pushed the Audi SQ5 off the road. The Audi then crashed into three parked vehicles—a Volkswagen, a BMW, and a Mitsubishi—before coming to a stop. Two occupants of the Audi suffered minor injuries as a result.

The BMW driver did not stop after the collision. Witnesses described the suspect as a male between 15 and 19 years old with long black hair. A passenger in the BMW, also thought to be of similar age, was wearing a cap. Authorities estimate the total damage from the crash at around €80,000. The traffic accident investigation unit has now appealed to the public for any information that could help identify those responsible.

The search continues for the driver and passenger of the black BMW X6. Anyone with details about the incident is urged to contact the police. The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to piece together the events leading up to the collision.
