1. Truck Broken Into, Tools and 200 Liters of Diesel Stolen

Location: Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt, Ostring Timeframe: Thursday, April 16, 2026, 4:30 PM to Wednesday, April 22, 2026, 8:30 AM

Unknown perpetrators broke into a parked Mercedes tiptruck in Nordenstadt over the past week. The vehicle was left unattended on Ostring between April 16 and 22. The thieves forced open a toolbox on the cargo bed using a crowbar and stole various tools. They then pried open the rear window of the cab, making off with a trailer hitch and a spare light. Finally, they tampered with the fuel tank, forcibly opening it and siphoning approximately 200 liters of diesel.

The stolen goods are valued at several hundred euros, while the damage caused amounts to several thousand euros. Criminal police are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact them at +49 611 345-0.

2. Burglars Enter Apartment via Balcony, Steal Jewelry

Location: Wiesbaden, Hermann-Brill-Straße Timeframe: Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 8:15 PM to 8:30 PM

On Tuesday evening, unknown intruders broke into a first-floor apartment in a multi-family building on Hermann-Brill-Straße. Between 8:15 PM and 8:30 PM, the suspects accessed the balcony and used a lever tool to force open the balcony door. After searching the apartment, they stole jewelry before fleeing in an unknown direction.
