Berlin's New Floating Venue Transforms Corporate Events on Water
A unique venue for corporate events has arrived in Berlin. The John Franklin seminar ship offers businesses a chance to combine meetings with scenic cruises along local waterways. With space for up to 40 guests, the vessel is now available for year-round charter.
The ship is designed for professional gatherings, from day-long seminars to multi-day incentive trips. It features 15 overnight cabins and restrooms, making it suitable for extended events. Onboard technical equipment includes a PA system, presentation monitor, Wi-Fi, flip chart, and whiteboard.
Two main packages are available for booking. The Seminar Package costs €99 per person and covers ship rental, event support, beverages, lunch, a presentation screen, and high-speed Wi-Fi. For more relaxed occasions, the Party Package starts at €125 per person for a three-hour cruise or €149 for four hours. This includes an open bar, seasonal catering, ambient lighting, a sound system, and lounge-style seating. The vessel cruises along Berlin and Brandenburg's waterways, with routes extending to destinations like Lake Müritz, Schwerin, Szczecin, Bad Saarow, and Teupitz. Its preferred docking location is Alt-Moabit 91, 10559 Berlin, offering easy access for guests.
The John Franklin provides businesses with a flexible event space on the water. Companies can choose between structured seminars or social gatherings, all while enjoying scenic views. Buffet catering and full-day availability add to the ship's appeal for corporate bookings.
