Two Women Critically Injured in Violent L3082 Highway Collision

Serious Traffic Accident on L3082 Between Neerdar and Usseln—One Critically Injured

A major traffic collision occurred this morning (September 11) at around 11:30 AM on the L3082 between Neerdar and Usseln. One person sustained life-threatening injuries.

According to initial findings, the two vehicles involved were traveling in opposite directions on the L3082 when, for reasons still under investigation, they collided in a long, sweeping curve. A forensic expert has been commissioned to reconstruct the accident.

The drivers—a 54-year-old woman and a 45-year-old woman—were both seriously injured. One of the women was airlifted to a hospital by rescue helicopter and underwent emergency surgery, while the other was transported by ambulance.

Both vehicles were completely destroyed in the crash. The road remains closed at the accident site as cleanup operations continue.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is being led by Korbach Police Station and is still ongoing.
