Roadworks Ahead: TrompeterstraĆe Closed to Vehicles and Cyclists for Three Weeks
TrompeterstraĆe shuts down for three weeks of utility upgrades in Wiesbaden
Heavy machinery is moving into Rambach as construction begins. From Monday, May 4, through an estimated Saturday, May 23, TrompeterstraĆe will be fully closed to traffic at house number 38. The city is carrying out utility connection work at the site, forcing drivers and cyclists to find alternate routes. Commuters passing through Rambach should allow extra time.
The closure affects all motorized and bicycle trafficāno vehicles or bikes will be able to pass through this section. Pedestrians, however, can continue using their usual paths. The city asks for patience and understanding, emphasizing that the work is essential.
Plan for Detours
Regular users of TrompeterstraĆe should seek alternative routes, especially during peak hours, as nearby streets may see increased congestion. Locals familiar with the area are already adjusting their routes, while navigation systems reroute drivers through side streets.
Why is this necessary? Rambach is growing, homes are being modernized, and infrastructure must keep pace. To maintain a stable network, the city must periodically step in. The work on TrompeterstraĆe is expected to take just under three weeks. If all goes according to plan, traffic will return to normal starting May 23.
