Butzbach: Fire at Bar

Around 06:50 AM on Wednesday (10.09.2025), the police received a report of a fire in a bar on Weiseler Street. Firefighters extinguished the fire. No one was injured. The extent of the property damage is not yet known. Witnesses saw a person running away from the bar towards Amtsgasse shortly after the fire started. This person may be connected to the incident and could have used a vehicle. Initial investigations by the criminal police suggest arson. The Friedberg criminal police are asking witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity to call 06031 6010.
