Nexus bolsters Financial Institutions team with Walid Youssef's strategic hire
Nexus has expanded its Financial Institutions team with the appointment of Walid Youssef. Youssef arrives at Nexus from Lockton, where he held the role of Senior Vice President in the global Financial Institutions team. Before that, he spent over four years at Travelers Europe, most recently as Head of Financial Institutions. His earlier career also includes a position as Vice President at Marsh, where he focused on insurance solutions for financial clients.
Nexus has been actively building its Financial Institutions division. Recent additions include Sam Meehan as Head of Underwriting Development, Scott Walker as Senior Underwriter, and Harry Risby as an underwriter. The company views Youssef's leadership as key to growing its portfolio in this sector. In his new role, Youssef will oversee the UK Financial Institutions portfolio and shape its strategic direction.
