Luxury fabric trolley stolen from German regional train in broad daylight
A fabric trolley worth around €1 The incident took place aboard a regional service between Gießen and Kassel. Unknown individuals removed the trolley from an overhead luggage rack without the owner’s knowledge. The victim only realised the item was missing shortly before arrival at Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe.
The Federal Police Inspectorate Kassel has since opened an investigation. Authorities have started criminal proceedings for theft and are actively seeking witnesses. Anyone with information about the stolen property or suspicious activity on the train is urged to come forward. The trolley, described as a high-value fabric model, was taken sometime during the journey. Police have not yet released further details about possible suspects or the exact time of the theft.
