Investec Bank expands Jersey team with two key private banking appointments

Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited has strengthened its Jersey team with two new appointments. The bank promoted Alex Macaione to Relationship Manager and hired Rob Duarte as Private Client Business Development. Both moves align with the firm's long-term strategy on the island.

Rob Duarte joins with over two decades of experience in international banking and investment. His career includes senior roles focused on high-net-worth clients and intermediaries. At Investec, he will concentrate on building new private client relationships.

Duarte expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with colleagues to deliver a tailored, relationship-driven service. His role complements the bank's culture, which prioritises long-term client partnerships. Alex Macaione's promotion to Relationship Manager means he will now act as a primary contact for clients. He will work alongside Susie Ryan to handle day-to-day client needs. Emily Dawson, Head of Private Clients, noted that these appointments reflect the bank's ongoing commitment to Jersey.
