GreenPlaces Germany Breaks Ground on Langen's New Modular Business Hub
A new commercial complex is set to rise in Langen after GreenPlaces Germany acquired a 50,000-square-foot plot in the Neurott industrial park. The site, previously home to the demolished Ross Europa headquarters, will be transformed into 22 modular units for offices, workshops, or storage. Construction is expected to start in late summer 2026, with completion due a year later. The development at 2 Robert-Bosch-Straße will feature 22 individual units, each averaging around 1,550 square feet. Every unit will include a large rolling door, a separate entrance, and two dedicated parking spaces. Buyers or tenants will also have the option to connect adjacent units for expanded space.
The land was sold by LIG Bau GmbH, a local company based in Langen. Before development begins, the site will be fully levelled and prepared for construction. The project has already earned recognition, winning the Immobilienmanager Award 2026 in the Sustainability & Social Responsibility category. This Langen site marks the second location in GreenPlaces Germany's expansion plan. The company aims to develop around 80 sites nationwide by 2026, with 78 more locations planned beyond Langen and the previously acquired Markdorf property. Two of these future sites have already been secured.
The new complex will offer flexible leasing or purchasing options for businesses. With construction set to finish by late 2027, the development will add modern commercial space to Langen's industrial park. The project aligns with GreenPlaces Germany's broader goal of expanding its portfolio across the country.
