A 33-year-old man's drive on the A672 near Darmstadt in the early hours of Tuesday (30.9.) came to an unwanted end. Around 00:45, a patrol from the police highway station stopped the man from the Esslingen district and subjected him to a check. He handed over a Greek driver's license to the police, which turned out to be a complete forgery. Furthermore, he exhibited physical peculiarities that suggested drug influence. A test confirmed this suspicion, showing a positive reaction to THC. He was provisionally arrested and taken to the station for a blood test, where appropriate proceedings were initiated against him.
