The 45-year-old from the Hochtaunuskreis was driving his black Audi Q6 on the Federal Road 455 from Oberursel in the direction of Kronberg im Taunus. While turning on the Federal Road, he caused an obstacle, so that another road user brushed against his vehicle while driving past. Instead of stopping, the vehicle then fled the scene. The Audi then rolled into the ditch. During the accident investigation, it was found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. After a successful blood test, the driver could be released from the station. The damage to the Audi is estimated at approximately 1,700 euros.
