ZEAL Network reports revenue growth but shrinking profits in Q1 2026

ZEAL Network SE has reported mixed financial results for the first quarter of 2026. While revenue and user numbers climbed, profits took a dip. The company also launched a new charity lottery as part of its expansion plans. The Berlin-based firm saw revenue from its lottery segment rise by 5% to €48.7 million in Q1 2026. Its games division performed even better, with a 14% increase to €3.9 million. This growth came alongside a 5% boost in average monthly active users, reaching 1.575 million.

New customer registrations jumped by 11% to 274,000, even without major jackpot events driving interest. The company’s B2C games portfolio now offers over 740 titles, up by around 90 since late 2025. On 14 April, ZEAL introduced *Traumautoverlosung*, a charity lottery where at least 20% of ticket sales go to good causes. Johanniter was named as the 2026 charity partner, and the headline prize is a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Despite these investments, net profit after tax fell by 15.5% to €8.3 million. Analysts note that online lottery penetration in Germany remains at roughly 29%, suggesting further growth potential for ZEAL’s brands like Lotto24. The company has kept its 2026 outlook unchanged despite the mixed quarterly results.

ZEAL’s first-quarter figures show rising revenues and user engagement, though profits have shrunk. The launch of Traumautoverlosung adds a charity-focused product to its portfolio, while the expanding games library aims to attract more players. The company continues to target growth in Germany’s underdeveloped online lottery market.
