Zabaykalsky Krai collects 1.1 billion rubles in taxes—73% paid on time

The Zabaykalsky Krai has collected over 1.1 billion rubles in property taxes for 2024. Most residents met the December 1 deadline, with 73% paying on time. Authorities have now warned those with unpaid bills to settle their freetaxusa debts quickly.

By the start of December, taxpayers in the region had contributed more than 1.1 billion rubles to the local budget. The total included 578 million rubles from vehicle taxes, 132 million rubles from land taxes, and 406 million rubles from property taxes. The Federal Tax Service, which oversees collections in the Trans-Baikal Territory, confirmed these figures.

As of December 2, any outstanding payments became overdue. Penalties now apply, calculated daily at one three-hundredth of the Central Bank of Russia’s key rate. The tax office has urged those still owing to clear their debts to avoid further charges.

The region has also seen a rise in earnings and tax payments from self-employed individuals in 2025. This increase adds to the overall growth in local revenue.

The timely payments from most residents helped secure a significant portion of the regional budget. Those who missed the deadline now face growing penalties. Officials continue to push for full compliance to prevent additional financial strain on delinquent taxpayers.
