Youths Attack Men in Wetter Park, Collision in Sterzhausen Leaves Injuries and Damage
A series of incidents occurred in Wetter and Sterzhausen on 7 October, involving youth perpetrators and leaving several injured and property damaged.
Around 6 pm, two men, aged 31 and 39, were attacked by a group of four youths, aged 14 to 15, in a park near the bakery Schäfer in Wetter. One youth assaulted the 39-year-old, sparking a scuffle where the 31-year-old was kicked in the head. The youths, two with dark complexions and one wearing a green hoodie, remain unidentified.
In Sterzhausen, a rear-end collision occurred on Wittgensteiner Straße around 6:15 pm. A 67-year-old driver crashed into the back of a 56-year-old at a red light, both traveling towards Caldern. The collision left two people lightly injured and an estimated 8,000 euros worth of damage to both vehicles, which were towed away.
Police are seeking witnesses for both incidents. The youths involved in the assault in Wetter remain unidentified and at large. The Sterzhausen collision resulted in minor injuries and significant property damage.
