Wolfenbüttel's luxury riverside homes rise as demolition begins for Living by the Oker

Demolition work has started at 1–3 Lindener Straße in Wolfenbüttel to make way for a new luxury housing development. Named Living by the Oker, the project will feature two modern buildings with 20 high-end apartments and a commercial space. Over 50 potential buyers have already shown interest in the properties.

The development is being led by Moretti Wohn- und Bauprojekte GmbH, a Wolfsburg-based company. Plans include one building facing Lindener Straße and a second positioned along the Oker river. A communal pavilion and a children's play area will also form part of the complex.

An underground parking garage will keep the site mostly free of cars. The apartments will range from 74 to 124 square metres, with prices set between €399,100 and €696,200. Construction is due to start in summer 2023, with completion expected by late 2027.

The project aims to provide upscale living near the river while maintaining a car-free environment. With strong early interest, the developer expects demand to remain high. Residents will have access to shared amenities and a scenic riverside location.
