Wiesbaden’s *Spaces for Dreams* turns empty senior housing into vibrant community hubs

A new community project called Spaces for Dreams has launched in Wiesbaden. It aims to bring residents together by transforming empty areas in senior housing complexes into hubs for social activities. Three local guides have already earned their qualifications to lead the initiative.

The project offers rent-free use of underused spaces in municipal senior housing. Nonprofit groups can now host events there, from painting classes to choir rehearsals. Initial workshops and creative sessions have already taken place, with more planned in the coming months.

The Spaces for Dreams initiative is now underway, with qualified guides leading the way. Underused areas in senior housing will host free activities for residents. The project’s success will depend on continued participation and the growth of local engagement.
