Wiesbaden’s Ostpreußenstraße to close for three weeks of utility work

A stretch of Ostpreußenstraße in Wiesbaden-Rambach will soon shut down for utility work. The closure starts on Tuesday, January 27, and is set to last until Monday, February 16. Only pedestrians will be able to pass through the affected area during this time.

The roadblock will cover the section near house numbers 66a and 66b. No motorised vehicles, including bicycles, will be allowed to enter. Pedestrians, however, can still use their normal walking routes.

No official sources have named the organisation or company responsible for the works. The full closure means drivers and cyclists must find alternative routes for nearly three weeks.

The shutdown begins on January 27 and continues until February 16. Residents and commuters should plan ahead for the disruption. Only those on foot will have unrestricted access to the area.
