Wiesbaden's Mühlwiesenstraße to Close for Two Weeks Starting March 23
A section of Mühlwiesenstraße in Wiesbaden's Sonnenberg district will close completely from Monday, March 23, until Saturday, April 4. The shutdown covers house numbers 10 to 16 and is needed for utility connection work.
During the closure, buses will follow a signed detour. The alternative route runs via Schlagstraße, Hirtenstraße, Bürschgartenstraße, Dudenstraße and Goldsteintal. Cyclists must also adjust their journeys, though pedestrians can still use their usual paths.
No previous construction projects or interruptions on Mühlwiesenstraße have been reported before this work. The upcoming closure marks the first recent disruption for this part of the road.
The road will reopen on April 4 after the utility work finishes. Until then, drivers and cyclists must follow the designated detour. Bus services will operate as normal but along the temporary route.
