Wiesbaden’s Hessenring closure forces major bus line detours in December

A major road closure in Wiesbaden will disrupt bus services for two weeks this December. The Hessenring will shut from December 2 to December 15, 2025, due to construction work. ESWE Verkehr has announced changes to several routes as a result.

The closure affects key bus lines, including 15, 43, 46, and the night service N2. School buses will also follow temporary routes during this period. Buses heading toward the city centre will detour via Horchheimer Straße before returning to their usual paths.

The Hessenring will reopen on December 16, 2025, once construction is complete. Until then, commuters on the affected lines should allow extra time for their journeys. Alternative travel options may be needed for those relying on school or night services.
