Wiesbaden's Hagenauer Straße underpass closes for urgent weekend repairs

As part of the six-lane expansion of the A 643 motorway, the underpass at Hagenauer Straße/Alte Schmelze will be renovated in two construction phases.

To maintain all lanes on the A 643, a temporary roadway—including a provisional bridge over Hagenauer Straße—must be built. The full closure of the road and pedestrian path is necessary to install the temporary bridge.

The closure and construction work will begin on Saturday, April 11, at 8:00 PM, continuing until Monday, April 13, at 5:00 AM. The closure will also affect pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
