Wiesbaden's Essential Water Supply Upgrades Begin October 20

Wiesbaden is set to undergo essential water supply upgrades, leading to temporary road closures in Dotzheim. From October 20, Felsenstraße and Hohlstraße will be closed for deep construction work, ensuring a secure water supply and reducing future disruptions.

The city has planned the closures to minimise inconvenience. Felsenstraße will be closed until November 23, allowing residents access via Karrnweg or Panoramastraße. Following this, Hohlstraße will be closed, with residents able to reach their homes via Schledornstraße. Pedestrians can still use the sidewalks, avoiding detours. The one-way regulation on Felsenstraße will be suspended during its closure to ease access for residents.

Wiesbaden's investment in underground infrastructure aims to secure the water supply and reduce future disruptions. The closures, starting October 20, will affect Felsenstraße and Hohlstraße, with residents able to access their properties via alternative routes. The renovation of water pipes in Karrnweg is scheduled for November 2025.
