Wiesbaden's Dichterviertel: Klopstockstraße to See Major Traffic Changes

Wiesbaden's Dichterviertel district is set for a traffic change. The local council has resolved to reduce through traffic on Klopstockstraße, with works commencing on Monday, 27 October and expected to finish around Friday, 14 November.

The Southeast District Advisory Council has decided to reroute traffic on Klopstockstraße, near Kastanienplatz, to decrease through traffic. Motor vehicles will no longer be able to drive directly from the 1st Ring to the 2nd Ring along this street. However, pedestrians and cyclists can still use the route, and all properties will remain accessible by car via alternative paths.

During the modification works, Hebbelstraße and Raabestraße will be reachable via Klopstockstraße from the 2nd Ring, and from Schiersteiner Straße, residents can use Wolfram-von-Eschenbach-Straße.

The traffic diversion on Klopstockstraße aims to enhance the district's livability by reducing through traffic. The project is scheduled to last approximately three weeks, with the route remaining open to pedestrians and cyclists throughout.
