Wiesbaden’s Bus Stop C relocates temporarily for roadworks in January

Bus Stop C at Platz der Deutschen Einheit in Wiesbaden will move temporarily from January 19. The relocation comes as construction begins on Schwalbacher Straße. Authorities aim to keep services running smoothly during the work.

The stop will shift to the central median of the square for the duration of the project. City officials have stressed that the change ensures safe and reliable bus operations while repairs take place. The temporary arrangement is set to last until March 14, 2024.

Passengers can find updated information on an interactive network map at www.netzplan-wiesbaden.de. On-site notices, signs, and timetable displays will also guide commuters to the new boarding point. The City of Wiesbaden is overseeing the planning, while ESWE Versorgung handles infrastructure repairs, including water line fixes. Once construction finishes in mid-March, Bus Stop C will return to its original position. Until then, travellers are advised to check departure points in advance and allow extra time during the first few days of the change.

The temporary relocation aims to minimise disruption during the Schwalbacher Straße works. Clear signage and digital updates will help passengers navigate the adjustment. Services are expected to resume normal operation once the project completes in March.
