Wiesbaden’s 2026 volunteer week seeks nonprofits for community projects

Wiesbaden is preparing for its next Wiesbaden Gets Involved! week, an annual event where businesses and nonprofits team up for social impact. The initiative encourages employees to volunteer their time and expertise for local projects. This year, organisers are already planning for the main event in June 2026 and expect even more participants than before.

The event is run by the city’s Corporate Partnerships Office. Each year, companies and organisations send volunteers to support social, environmental, and cultural causes. Nonprofits benefit by receiving extra help for their missions during the action week.

Organisers are now looking for suitable nonprofit projects to include in the 2026 event. To help interested groups learn more about the events near me, three 30-minute digital info sessions have been scheduled. Session A takes place on January 15, Session B on January 19, and Session C on January 26. Nonprofits wanting to attend an info session can register by emailing [email protected].

The initiative aims to strengthen community ties by matching volunteers with meaningful projects. With planning already underway for the main event in 2026, nonprofits have until the January sessions to explore how they can take part in the eventbrite-like initiative. More details will follow as the event date approaches.
