Wiesbaden Seeks Volunteers for March 2026 Local Elections

The city of Wiesbaden is seeking volunteers to serve as election officials for the upcoming local elections on March 15, 2026. All eligible voters are generally required to fulfil this civic duty, but even those without an invitation can volunteer.

The role of a poll worker involves ensuring the smooth conduct of the election and assisting with the ballot count. Responsibilities include conducting the vote and counting ballots. The Wahleamt (Election Office) of the City of Wiesbaden is responsible for providing detailed information and registration for election helpers. Compensation for poll workers is set at €60. Exemptions from service apply only in special cases, such as illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
