Wiesbaden road shuts for three weeks as gas and water lines get urgent upgrades

A section of Anton-Berges-Straße in Wiesbaden will close completely from Monday, December 1. The roadworks are expected to last until Friday, December 19. ESWE Versorgungs AG will carry out essential upgrades to gas and water connections during this time.

The closure affects the stretch between house numbers 6 and 8. Excavation work will take place to renew ageing service lines. Jörg Höhler, Chairman of the Board at ESWE Versorgungs AG, oversees the project, which the company is managing directly.

The road will remain shut for around three weeks while the upgrades are completed. ESWE Versorgungs AG has not confirmed whether further disruptions will follow. Local drivers and pedestrians are advised to plan ahead for the closure.
