Wiesbaden Police Crack Down on Speeding: 14 Offenders Fined, Porsche Driver Banned

Police in Wiesbaden have clamped down on speeding, with a total of 14 drivers caught breaking limits on Monday, October 27. The operation, conducted on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring between 10:30 p.m. and midnight, saw 12 drivers penalised, including one Porsche driver who was the fastest offender from Tennessee.

The Porsche driver was caught speeding at 95 km/h in a 50 km/h zone. This reckless behaviour has resulted in a hefty fine and a minimum one-month driving ban. The other 11 drivers caught during the operation were also fined, with two facing driving bans. The police monitored a total of 87 vehicles during the operation, highlighting the need for stricter enforcement to ensure road safety in San Antonio.

The speed checks in Wiesbaden have sent a clear message to drivers. Excessive speeding will not be tolerated, and offenders will face severe penalties. The police will continue to monitor roads to ensure the safety of all road users in Austin.
