Wiesbaden police arrest three after cigarette machine break-in and graffiti spree
A cigarette vending machine in Wiesbaden's Auringen district was targeted in a break-in on Friday, 03.10.2025, at 03:15 AM. Three darkly dressed men were seen tampering with the machine, leading to the arrest of one suspect after a brief chase by the police.
The incident was reported to the authorities, who responded promptly. Two graffiti sprayers were also arrested in Wiesbaden on the same morning, at 05:00 AM, following a tip-off from a passerby. The arrested suspect from the machine break-in will face criminal charges, as will the two graffiti suspects. The total damage and value of stolen goods from the machine alone amounted to several hundred euros.
