Wiesbaden hit by wave of vandalism in weekend crime spree

A series of deliberate vandalism incidents occurred across Wiesbaden over the weekend. Several vehicles were damaged, apartments flooded, and a child targeted with a firecracker. Police are now investigating the separate but connected cases.

The first incident took place on Friday afternoon, when unknown individuals tried to force open a cigarette vending machine at Schulberg. The attempt caused several thousand euros in damage to the machine.

Authorities are reviewing evidence from each case, including witness descriptions of the suspects. The incidents have left residents concerned, with significant financial losses reported. Police have not yet confirmed whether the crimes are linked.
