Wiesbaden firefighters rescue injured woman from dense Rabengrund forest
Emergency responders from the Wiesbaden Fire Department rescued an injured woman from a wooded area on Monday morning. The operation took place in the Rabengrund district near Platter Straße after a call was received just before 10 a.m.
The emergency call came in at 9:52 a.m., prompting a swift response. Firefighters deployed a specialised all-terrain vehicle (ATV) to navigate the difficult forest terrain and locate the woman.
Once found, she received immediate medical attention at the scene. Rescue teams then transported her out of the woods using the ATV before transferring her to an ambulance. Authorities had earlier urged the public to stay clear of the area while the operation was underway. The operation involved coordinated efforts from firefighters and medical personnel. The woman was safely extracted from the forest and transported for hospital care. No further details about her condition have been released.
