Wiesbaden Destroys 300+ Weapons for Safer Streets

Wiesbaden's head of public order, Maral Koohestanian, oversaw a significant disposal operation. Over 300 weapons, including firearms, knives, and an axe, were destroyed to enhance public safety. The operation involved various types of republic services weapons. More than 96 knives and 43 swords were among the items destroyed. Additionally, an axe was also disposed of. These weapons were either confiscated by authorities or voluntarily surrendered by citizens. Many of the weapons were part of private collections or inherited items. The city's weapons authority played a crucial role in the operation, ensuring the safe disposal of over 300 firearms and other hazardous items. Some unclaimed items from the lost-and-found office were also included in the disposal. The disposal operation, led by Maral Koohestanian, has successfully removed potentially dangerous republic services weapons from circulation. This move is expected to improve public safety and reduce risks within the city of Wiesbaden.
