Wiesbaden Crime Surge: Police Hunt Suspects in Burglaries, Vandalism, and Arson

Wiesbaden has seen a recent surge in criminal activities, with several incidents reported over the past week. These include attempted burglaries, vandalism, and even an arson attack. The police are currently investigating these cases and urge anyone with information to come forward.

On October 11, 2025, at around 20:52, an unknown suspect attempted a burglary in Rüdesheimer Straße. The perpetrator, wearing a black jacket, light-colored top, black pants, and dark Adidas shoes, was recorded on video fleeing the scene after failing to break into a ground-floor apartment.

In a separate incident, a 53-year-old resident was attacked by a group of four to five juveniles near the playground at Buedingenstraße. The victim sustained minor injuries and the assailants remain at large.

Two burglars targeted an apartment in Karl-Boos-Straße, climbing onto the balcony to steal gold and fashion jewelry. The police are reviewing CCTV footage for leads.

An unknown suspect attempted to burglarize a multi-family house in the same Rüdesheimer Straße, ringing the doorbell and trying to force open a door. Fortunately, the resident was alert and raised the alarm.

A 24-year-old resident of Wiesbaden was arrested for graffiti vandalism on Rheinstraße, caught red-handed with a pink spray can. They are now facing charges.

In another attempted burglary, an unknown suspect targeted a barbershop in Rheinstraße, packaging the cash register before fleeing empty-handed.

Adding to the list of crimes, an unknown arsonist set fire to waste in Kaethe-Kollwitz-Straße, damaging two parked vehicles in the process.

The Wiesbaden police are working diligently to apprehend the suspects involved in these incidents. They remind residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. Anyone with information is urged to contact the local police station.
