This picture is clicked outside the city. At the bottom, we see the road. Beside that, we see the footpath. In the middle of the picture, we see the buildings. We even see the doors and windows. On the building, we see some text written as "The old stillage". On the left side, we see the glass door and a wall in red color. We see a board in purple color with some text written on it. At the top, we see the sky.

Wiesbaden City Archives Closes Reading Room for Holiday Break

The Wiesbaden City Archives will temporarily close its reading room from December 19 to January 4. The closure starts on December 19 at 12 pm and ends on January 5 at 9 am. During this period, visitors will not have access to the archives' materials or services. The current head, Dr. Peter Quadflieg, will not be present as he has a scheduled event in Bonn on December 8, 2025, with Ulrike Heinisch. Upon reopening, the reading room will resume its usual schedule: Mondays from 9 am to 12 pm, Tuesdays from 9 am to 4 pm, Wednesdays from 9 am to 6 pm, and Thursdays from 12 pm to 4 pm. The archives' website will provide updates if there are any changes to the closure dates. Researchers and visitors planning to use the facility should check online before traveling. Normal operations will restart on January 5, with the reading room available during its standard opening times.
