Wiesbaden Braces for Multiple Road Closures Starting October 20

Wiesbaden residents and motorists should brace for several road closures and diversions starting from October 20, 2025. These disruptions are due to essential repairs and construction projects, including gas pipe leaks and utility line separations.

In Biebrich, Glarusstraße will be closed from October 20 until the end of November for the renewal of the outlet channel by the municipal utilities (ELW). The closure affects the stretch from the Breslauer Straße roundabout to the Teplitzstraße/Pfälzer Straße residential area. Motorists are advised to use the official diversion via Kasteler Straße, Albertstraße, and Rheingaustraße.

Palmstraße will also be fully closed in Biebrich from October 20 to November 7 for utility line separations and renewals. Meanwhile, in Dotzheim, Felsen Street and Hohl Street will be closed one after the other from October 20 to November 23 for deep construction work on the water supply line. Additionally, Kapellenstraße in Nordost will be fully closed from October 20 to November 17 for water line renovation.

In another part of Biebrich, Kirschblütenstraße will have a full sidewalk closure from October 16 to 23 for new property access construction. Lastly, Nasserstraße will be fully closed from October 21 to November 2 due to a leaking gas pipe replacement.

These closures and diversions are expected to cause numerous disruptions for motorists in Wiesbaden. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and expect delays. The city urges patience and understanding as these essential repairs and construction projects are carried out.
