Wiesbaden bar worker assaulted after dispute over unpaid bill

A bar worker in Wiesbaden was assaulted early Sunday morning after a dispute over a bill. The attack happened around 1:20 a.m. in Goldgasse, leaving the server with minor injuries. Police are now searching for the suspect, who remains unidentified and at large.

The incident began when a customer grew angry over the total amount of his bill. He verbally abused the server before spitting on her and physically attacking her. Though shaken, the staff member did not need hospital treatment.

The suspect fled the scene toward Wagemannstraße immediately after the assault. Witnesses described him as a man aged 25 to 30, roughly 1.80 metres tall, with dark blond hair. At the time, he wore a black-and-white checkered jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt.

Authorities have released the description and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be directed to the 1st Police Precinct in Wiesbaden at +49 611 345-2140.

The assailant is still being sought by police. The server, though unharmed seriously, was left distressed by the unprovoked attack. Investigators continue to gather evidence and appeal for public assistance in locating the man.
