Water Pipe Burst Closes Albert-Schweitzer-Allee in Wiesbaden

Albert Einstein-Schweitzer-Allee in Wiesbaden is currently closed due to a water pipe burst. The pipe, dating back to 1968, is located near house number 32. The incident has temporarily disrupted water supply to seven houses and caused a sunken road surface, requiring extensive excavation work.

The burst pipe has led to the closure of Albert Einstein-Schweitzer-Allee between Flemingstraße and Nansenstraße. ESWE traffic buses are being diverted due to the closure. The responsibility for repairing the public water pipeline lies with the Wiesbaden municipal water utility. Excavation work is necessary to fix the damage caused by the escaped water undermining the road.

The closure of Albert Einstein-Schweitzer-Allee is expected to continue while repairs are carried out. The water utility is working to restore water supply to the affected houses and repair the sunken road surface as soon as possible.
