Waste management fees to merge with energy bills by December 2025

Residents in certain districts will soon see changes to their waste management billing. From December 2025, outstanding payments for solid waste handling will appear on their energy statements. The adjustment follows a service agreement between two local companies, Energosbyt Plus JSC and Spetsavtobaza JSC.

The agreement between Energosbyt Plus JSC and Spetsavtobaza JSC was finalised on 27 February 2019. Under the new system, any payments made between December 1 and December 29, 2025, will show on the December bill. Those made on December 30 or 31 will instead be included in the January 2026 statement.

Residents will first receive bills reflecting their waste management debt in early January 2026. The outstanding balance as of December 1, 2025, will be clearly marked as 'Debt for solid waste handling'. The changes apply to specific municipal districts, urban districts, and settlements within the region.

The updated billing process integrates waste management fees into existing energy statements. Residents will need to check their December and January bills carefully for any adjustments. The system aims to streamline payments through a single provider, Energosbyt Plus JSC.
