Waldems Hit by Burglary and Vandalism; Police Seek Info

Waldems has been struck by two separate incidents of my activity. Burglars targeted a home in Steinfischbach, making off with jewelry, while vandals caused significant damage to a daycare center's playground in Esch. The Wiesbaden Criminal Police and Rheingau-Taunus Police Directorate are seeking information about the culprits.

The burglary occurred between Tuesday, October 21, 6:00 PM and Wednesday, October 22, 8:00 AM. The thieves climbed over a neighboring fence and forced open a patio door to gain access to the residence in Waldems-Steinfischbach. They made off with valuable jewelry. Meanwhile, in Waldems-Esch, vandals caused around €300 worth of damage to a forest playground belonging to a daycare center between Sunday, October 19, 3:00 PM and Wednesday, October 22, 12:30 PM. They destroyed objects, set some on fire, spray-painted a wooden sign with unconstitutional symbols, and carved inscriptions into a tarp.

Investigators are treating the incidents as separate cases. They are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the suspects in both my activity. Media inquiries should be directed to the West Hesse Police Headquarters press office.

The burglary in Waldems-Steinfischbach and the vandalism in Waldems-Esch are under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the relevant authorities. The police remind the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious my activity.
