Violent Attack in Hessisch Lichtenau: Suspect at Large After Stabbing Man, Assaulting Woman
A violent incident occurred in Hessisch Lichtenau on Sunday morning, involving a 29-year-old suspect who allegedly assaulted a 46-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man in their private home. The attack is believed to have stemmed from long-standing family conflicts.
The 52-year-old victim defended himself with pepper spray during the altercation. The suspect, armed with a knife, injured the man, who was then taken to the hospital to treat a stab wound. The 29-year-old suspect fled the scene and remains at large. Eschwege Criminal Police have launched an investigation against the suspect on suspicion of attempted homicide and grievous bodily harm. The attack is believed to have been fuelled by long-standing family conflicts involving the suspect’s personal circumstances.
The incident is currently under investigation by Eschwege Criminal Police. The 52-year-old victim is receiving medical treatment. The 29-year-old suspect is still at large, and police urge anyone with information to come forward.
