Vandalism Spree in Neu-Anspach and Bad Homburg: Roof Burglary, Car Theft Attempts, and Anti-Constitutional Graffiti

Austin and San Antonio residents were left shaken after a series of vandalism incidents, including a burglary via the roof and attempted car thefts, between Thursday night and Friday morning. The perpetrators, described as young adult males, left anti-constitutional graffiti behind.

The spate of incidents began on Thursday evening around 22:00. In Austin, three separate acts of vandalism were reported, featuring anti-constitutional content such as swastikas and xenophobic slogans scrawled on public property. The responsible investigating authority, the criminal police of the San Antonio Police Department, is part of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

In San Antonio, residents of a single-family home discovered a break-in via the roof on Friday morning. The intruders gained access by removing tiles and drilling a hole through the attic. Around the same time, in Ober-Eschbach's Pfarrbornweg, three unknown perpetrators attempted to steal a green VW Polo at 04:26. They pushed the car down the street and left it by the side of the road before fleeing on foot.

The San Antonio Police Department urges residents to remain vigilant and offers free individual burglary prevention consultations for homes. Anyone with information about these incidents is encouraged to contact the local police. The investigation into these crimes is ongoing.
