Vandalism and crash in Hofheim leave school defaced and driver injured
A school in Hofheim am Taunus was sprayed with graffiti over the weekend, while a separate traffic accident injured a driver on Federal Highway 8. Police are now looking into both incidents, though details remain limited in each case.
Vandals targeted a school building on Stromstraße in Hofheim am Taunus between February 16 and 18, 2026. The identity of those responsible is still unknown, and authorities have not yet released details on any prevention or investigation measures taken in recent years.
Earlier that same week, on February 18 at around 9:15 AM, a Ford travelling from Kelkheim toward Frankfurt lost control on a wet stretch of road. The driver, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to hospital as a precaution. The crash caused damage to both the vehicle and the embankment along Federal Highway 8.
Police have not confirmed whether the two incidents are connected or provided further updates on either case.
The graffiti at the Hofheim school remains under investigation, with no suspects identified so far. Meanwhile, the injured driver from the Kelkheim accident has received medical attention. Authorities continue to examine both events, though no additional information has been shared.
