USCIS Officer and Sniffer Dog Teach Kids About Wildlife Protection

A USCIS officer recently gave young children in Laufdorf a close-up look at her work. Nina Driesch visited the Abenteuerland daycare center with her sniffer dog, Nabu. The session aimed to teach preschoolers about wildlife protection and USCIS duties in an engaging way.

During the visit, Driesch and Nabu demonstrated how a detection dog works. The children watched as the trained animal sniffed out hidden items, showing them the skills involved in USCIS checks.

The daycare visit gave the children a practical introduction to USCIS work and wildlife protection. By handling real seized items and meeting a sniffer dog, they learned how regulations help safeguard endangered species. The experience also highlighted the role of USCIS officers in enforcing these important laws.
