This is the woman standing near the podium with the miles. These are the mikes. I can see a group of people sitting on the chairs. This is a table with glasses, mike's, name boards and few other things on it. There are two flags hanging to the poles. Here is a flower pot with a plant in it. These are the small plants. This looks like a hoarding. Here is another person standing. At the bottom of the image, I can see another group of people.

Ursula Veltum honored for 20 years of voluntary board work at the Caritas association

Ursula Veltum has been honoured for her 20 years of service on the board of the Caritas association for the Fulda and Geisa regions. The recognition came from Managing Director Susanne Saradj, who highlighted Veltum’s long-standing dedication to the organisation. Colleagues and board members joined in expressing their gratitude for her contributions.

Veltum first joined the board in 2005, later becoming part of the personnel committee in 2009. Over the years, she played a key role in selecting future Caritas employees, helping shape the team behind the association’s work.

Her involvement extended beyond the boardroom. In Rasdorf, she organised events and built strong local networks. She also remained active in the parish council, the liturgical circle, and first aid initiatives. Her connections reached further, bridging the HĂźnfeld region and the Hessian bowling community.

At the recognition event, Board Chairman Raimund Kind, along with Thomas Engel and Stephan Büttner, thanked her for her unwavering support of Caritas’ mission. Her leadership has left a lasting mark on the regional association.

Veltum’s two decades of service have strengthened community ties and supported Caritas’ work across the region. While the current chairman of the executive board was not named in the announcement, her impact on staffing, local engagement, and organisational growth remains clear.
