Unprovoked Pub Attack Leaves Woman Injured in Bad Schwalbach

A 37-year-old woman from Mainz was assaulted by a 33-year-old man in Bad Schwalbach on Saturday evening. The attack occurred without provocation at a pub on Adolfstraße. The assailant initially knocked the woman to the ground, causing injuries. A 25-year-old witness attempted to assist the victim but was threatened with a knife by the attacker. Later, the attacker punched the woman in the face again, exacerbating her injuries. Fortunately, the woman's 38-year-old companion intervened and successfully subdued the attacker. Paramedics treated the woman at the scene, but hospitalization was not required. Authorities have since launched multiple criminal investigations against the suspect, who was taken into temporary custody by police. The attacker, a 33-year-old man, is currently in police custody. Authorities are conducting thorough investigations into the incident. The victim, a 37-year-old woman from Mainz, was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
