Ukrainian Man Arrested at Frankfurt Airport with Fake ID and Imitation Gun
Federal police at Frankfurt Airport's long-distance train station arrested a 48-year-old Ukrainian man. He arrived without a ticket on an ICE from Cologne and presented a forged Czech residence permit during a check. Upon inspection, officers discovered an imitation weapon of type Walther P99 and a forged Czech drivers license on the man. The imitation weapon was promptly seized. Investigations are now underway against the man for forgery, violation of the weapons law, and fare evasion. Despite carrying a forged Czech residence permit, the man also had a valid and genuine Polish residence permit. The Prosecutor General's Office in Frankfurt am Main is demanding further investigations into the case. The Ukrainian man's actions have led to multiple charges, and his true intentions remain under scrutiny.
