Two violent FlixBus robberies shock German towns in one night

Two violent robberies took place late on Wednesday evening in Mainflingen and Klein-Welzheim. In both cases, men were attacked shortly after stepping off a bus. Police are now investigating whether the same person was responsible for both crimes.

The first incident happened at around 9 p.m. in Mainflingen. A 57-year-old man was robbed and assaulted after leaving a Flixbus at a local stop. The attacker grabbed his wallet before running away.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity near the affected Flixbus stops or has information about the attacker is asked to contact the criminal police at 069 8098-1234. The investigation into the robberies remains ongoing.
